Job Summary
Level 3 Industrial Hygiene Environmental Consultant sought to conduct asbestos, lead, mold, silica, water-damage and indoor air-quality inspections and sampling across field and office settings. Responsibilities include directing subcontractors, preparing inspection reports and project designs, performing abatement oversight, facilitating regulatory reviews, mentoring Level 1-2 staff, creating SOPs/manuals, delivering technical presentations, and managing multiple projects (8-10 hour days with extensive travel). Qualified candidates have EPA asbestos-related certifications, Texas licenses (asbestos, lead, air monitor), AHERA certifications, strong communication, and proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Microsoft Office. Must travel 80-90% of the time and be able to work from 8-5 in the office, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related science field (Required)
- AHERA Building Inspector and Contractor/Supervisor Certification (Required)
- AHERA Management Planner and Project Designer (Required)
- Active Individual Asbestos Consultant License Texas (Required)
- Air Monitor Technician / PM License Texas (Required)
- Asbestos Inspector License Texas (Required)
- Management Planner and Project License Texas (Required)
- EPA Lead Inspector Certification (Required)
- Mold Assessment Consultant License Texas (Required)
- Current Driver's license with clean driving record
- 5 years as an Industrial Hygienist or Environmental Technician preferred (Required)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel 80-90% of time
- English proficiency (spoken/written)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Ability to work 8-10 hour days in office/field
- Willingness to travel long distances
- Experience with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, MS Word/Excel/Adobe
