Level 3 Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
Conduct routine foot patrols to maintain a safe environment, utilizing electronic tour tracking software to document assignments and monitor access logs. Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies while coordinating with local law enforcement, and prepare detailed incident reports. Enforce site policies and security procedures, including performing duties as assigned. Requires a valid New Mexico Level III Security Guard License, firearms license, and baton certification, with 3–4 years of armed security experience. Available for day, swing, or overnight shifts with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Level III Security Guard License (Guard Card)
- Minimum 3–4 years of armed security experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Working knowledge of standard security procedures, practices, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- New Mexico Firearms License
- Baton Certification/Permit
- OC Spray Certification
- Handcuff Certification
- Applicants must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods
- Applicants must be able to: Sit for prolonged periods when required
- Applicants must be able to: Climb stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
- Applicants must be able to: Bend, kneel, twist, reach, and grasp frequently
- Applicants must be able to: Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Applicants must be able to: Run or respond quickly during emergency situations
