Job Summary
Level 2 Switch Assembly Operator at Mini-Circuits, Brooklyn, NY. Assemble mechanical switches under supervision, perform soldering of small components, mount reeds and terminals, install connectors into switch bodies, and conduct cycles testing. Responsibilities include maintaining tools and work area, conducting visual inspections, following procedures, and stopping the process if issues arise. Requires reading assembly drawings, use of measuring tools (calipers, surface gauges), microscope usage, and basic English communication. Must work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and comply with safety and conduct standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-year Mechanical Switch assembly experience
- Use of a microscope
- To use a soldering iron
- Ability to use hand tools such as tweezer, plier, screwdriver, etc.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
- Working in house assembly or external production departments for 1 year
- Experience in using mechanical measuring tools, i.e. caliper and surface gauge
- General soldering training
- CP’s related to the assembly of switches
- In accordance with D3-HT00-82, training procedure for mechanical switch assembly department
- Read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Work well in a fast phase environment
- Work well in a team
