Job Summary
Deliver in-person and project-based IT support to local clients by visiting sites to diagnose and fix issues involving computers, networks, servers, and connectivity. Provide remote support services and manage client projects while maintaining strong communication skills and professional client relationships. Log all support actions in the ticketing system and ensure client information remains current. Support the deployment team with server, network, and workstation setup projects. This role offers a clear career roadmap with opportunities for certification support and promotion.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years in an IT support role
- MSP experience
- Proficiency in configuring firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and VLANs
- Familiarity with Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Foundational understanding of technologies like Hyper-V
- Skilled in desktop hardware repair, drive replacement, disk imaging, operating system installations, malware removal, and troubleshooting email systems
- Self-motivated individual who can thrive independently or collaboratively
- Maintain confidence when working with clients, even in challenging situations
- Must be able to work in Baton Rouge, LA and two hours surrounding, and remote from home
- Must be able to work from our office on scheduled days after onboarding
