Job Summary
Level 1 Associate Support Technician responsible for remotely managing and maintaining client networks, handling end-user tickets, and documenting work. Key duties include IT support for Windows desktops and servers, Mac environments, VMware-based virtual environments, Microsoft 365 and SQL technologies, WAN/LAN connectivity, routers/firewalls/security, VPN/Terminal Services/Citrix, disaster recovery solutions, and maintaining up-to-date system documentation. Strong verbal/written communication, attention to detail, and collaborative teamwork are essential, with opportunities for occasional remote work and a Lansing-based office presence. CJIS background screening is required as part of the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a technical field or Customer Service
- Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
- Microsoft Server Operating Systems
- Microsoft Office Applications
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, routing
- Smart phones/Mobile Devices
