LEV Testing Technician

Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems in line with relevant guidance and legislation. Compile technical data, produce clear and accurate reports, and present findings and recommendations to clients. Manage a varied portfolio of projects effectively, ensuring all work adheres to COSHH, health and safety legislation, and safe systems of work. Collaborate with occupational hygienists, consultants, and wider project teams while liaising with clients and regulatory bodies as required. Work independently across client sites in the South West, maintaining strong client relationships and meeting agreed timescales.
Required Qualifications
- previous experience working within the LEV industry
- A BOHS P601 qualification
- A strong technical and educational background
- In-depth knowledge of COSHH regulations relating to LEV systems and occupational exposure
- Experience completing LEV thorough examinations and tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to produce clear, factual and easy-to-understand technical reports
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- A full UK driving licence
- comfortable managing your own workload while travelling to client sites across the South West
