Required Qualifications

• •3+ years of continuous work experience
• •Preference in mail industry or print industry
• •High School Diploma or GED
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence
• •Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• •Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• •Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
• •Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail
• •Ability to work independently
• •Flexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed to meet goals
• •Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• •Must be available for weekend shifts
• •Must be available for Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday
• •Must be available for 3am - 3pm work hours
• •Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours
• •Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• •Must be able to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
• •Must be able to perform production record/sequence verifications steps on all variable jobs
• •Must be able to perform daily maintenance as required and assist with emergency maintenance specific to device
• •Must be able to operate and maintain mail inserting equipment
• •Must be able to troubleshoot mail inserting equipment related issues
• •Must be able to handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stock jobs
• •Must be able to perform production quality verifications per the standard operating procedures
• •Must be able to perform first piece / timed inspections on each product line
• •Must be able to ensure employees in your area of the plant stay compliant with safety, work procedures
• •Must be able to inform managers on all important issues that may impact quality, job schedules, cost, safety, and run machinery when necessary

• •Must be able to lead the Lettershop team and work closely with management
• •Must be able to perform job duties in compliance with company regulatory standards
• •Must be able to maintain a clean and safe environment
• •Must be able to complete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communications and operations
• •Must be able to collaborate and Assist department managers to effectively meet deadlines
• •Must be able to follow all written instructions in job tickets, general work instructions, and operating standards
• •Must be able to perform Operation and set up of inserting equipment including but not limited to cutting, accumulating, folding and inserting
• •Must be able to collaborate with Prepress, Print, and Mail teams on imposition and workflows recommendations
• •Must be able to lead and direct the insert team
• •Must be able to leads operations team of hourly employees within the mail inserting area
• •Must be able to ensure product meets quality, budgeted hours, materials, and output requirements
