Job Summary
Develop system architectures for products that efficiently support multi-disciplinary use cases while following architectural design principles. Lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams to develop system solutions that balance complexity across disciplines and maximize stakeholder value. Document architectural solutions, review design documents and safety-critical control logic for consistency with requirements, and collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded subsystems. Troubleshoot system issues during development and for deployed systems, formulate project execution strategies, and manage one or more subsystems. Mentor design engineers to develop systems-level understanding across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field
- At least 10 years of engineering experience
Desired Qualifications
- recent emphasis in systems engineering
- Model Based Systems Engineering experience
- Experience developing and documenting system architectures and leading design teams using well-constructed architectural design principles
- A demonstrable track record of proactive change management
