Job Summary
Level 3 Inventory and Distribution Specialist leads advanced warehouse operations, using MRP/ERP systems to manage inventory, coordinating domestic and international freight, and mentoring Level 1–2 associates. Responsibilities include managing receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in the MRP, conducting cycle counts and audits, generating MRP reports for planning, booking and coordinating shipments (LTL/FTL/parcel domestically and ocean/air/ground internationally), coordinating with brokers and customs, ensuring timely delivery, documenting shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, operating forklifts and other handling equipment, and training/mentoring junior staff while identifying process improvements and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of warehouse experience with inventory management and shipping/receiving, proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (NetSuite a plus), experience booking shipments with freight carriers, basic computer skills, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong attention to detail; preferred qualifications include an associate degree and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse experience, including inventory management and shipping/receiving
- Demonstrated proficiency with MRP/ERP systems. NetSuite experience a plus.
- Experience booking shipments through LTL carrier websites and coordinating with freight brokers/forwarders for dedicated domestic and international shipments.
- Proficiency with warehouse management tools and basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
