Leo Cancer Care: Installations Engineer Level III

Job Summary
Install Leo Cancer Care systems within the product portfolio to required specifications and quality within project timescales. Complete mechanical and electrical installations, assist with development of installation documentation, and perform Device Acceptance Testing. Manage third-party installers and contractors, resolve site readiness issues with the Project Manager, and report installation progress to the Install Manager. Assist with training of new Installation Engineers, meet Key Performance Indicators for Order Fulfilment Hardware Installation, and submit timely administrative duties including expense reports and film badges. Operate in accordance with the quality system, maintain up-to-date product knowledge, and contribute to design meetings and process improvements. This global travelling role requires up to 80% travel, a full passport and driving license, and residence within one hour of a major airport. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in complex medical device installation in a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in complex medical device installation or manufacturing with experience in working in a highly regulated, fast paced and compliance-oriented environment
- Background in STEM
- Able to read technical drawings, both mechanical and system / electrical schematics
- Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Problem-solving skills to anticipate issues and handle them appropriately when they do
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple moving pieces with flexibility
- Highly motivated and have good problem-solving skills
- Strong customer focus and have excellent customer service skills
- A good communicator at all levels, written and verbal output shall be concise and accurate
- Ability to represent the organization in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to work in time-sensitive and deadline driven environment
- Must reside within 1 hour of a major airport with ability for international connections
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required for the role, up to 80% of the time
- Anticipating possible extended amounts of time away or short stays at home
- Possess a passport for international travel
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working on a customer site environment
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
