Job Summary
Licensed Optician delivers LensCrafters’ brand value by providing legend-worthy customer service and precisely fitting eyewear to meet prescription needs. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, taking and recording measurements, accurately fitting eyewear, assisting with complex product needs, using optical technology and iPad/tablet for prescriptions, maintaining store appearance, adhering to policies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, state licensure, optical dispensing experience, strong customer service and selling skills, familiarity with POS/computers, and ability to multi-task and learn new technology.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- State Licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators
- Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPAD/tablet
