Job Summary
Support customers and prospective clients via phone and in-person interactions to provide best-in-class service. Assess loan applications accurately and timely while strictly adhering to credit policy rules and risk parameters. Gather loan information, sell loan and protection products, and close loans both virtually and in person. Manage past due accounts and handle cash controls including taking payments. This role is part of Fairstone Financial's responsible lending solutions, offering personal loans and retail point-of-sale financing to help Canadians meet their financial needs.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in Canada
- High-school diploma or the equivalent
- Great communication skills
- At least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting
- Experience in a financial institution
- Previous experience working with loan origination software
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration
