Job Summary
Lending & Sales Advisor responsible for processing incoming consumer loan applications, including HELOCs, through loan origination systems, with a strong emphasis on cross-selling loan products and compliant communication of denials. Demonstrates a motivated, sales-driven approach and excellent member service to maximize lending and sales opportunities. Handles end-to-end loan processing from application to closing, effectively explaining options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements, and submits complete packages to underwriters for decisioning. Maintains strong product knowledge, collaborates with teammates, adheres to credit union policies and regulations, and ensures timely follow-up to disburse and fund loans by close of business on receipt. Requires the ability to interview applicants, gather information, and maintain documentation while meeting goals and deadlines. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in consumer loan sales/service preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Two to five years of experience in the consumer loan sales and service industry
- Banking or credit union experience preferred
