Lending Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Manage financial transactions for vehicle and home equity loans, including adjusting settlements, processing payoffs, issuing refunds, and releasing titles. Calculate payoff amounts, generate statements, and handle ACH payment reversals or corrections for errors. Process loan modifications, update account information, and review GAP, MBP, and Payment Protection letters for accuracy before imaging and uploading them to the system. Respond to member and internal inquiries regarding accounts, policies, and insurance coverage, escalating complex scenarios as needed. Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in lending operations, loan servicing, or financial services
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Experience in a credit union or bank environment
- Experience in lending operations or loan processing roles
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in using loan servicing systems, databases, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
