Job Summary
Lending Claims Specialist II in a hybrid role based in Waverly, IA. Responsible for investigation, communication, and settlement of Life and/or Involuntary Unemployment claims; obtain medical, employment or other information; educate customers on policy provisions; interpret financial and non-financial information; follow claim requirements and procedures; may require examinations/licensing; collaborate with team to improve performance, provide guidance, and participate in team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- 2+ years of claim processing experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in verbal/written Spanish preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
