Job Summary
Coordinate residential mortgage applications from application through closing by reviewing loan files for completeness, ordering third-party reports, and preparing required disclosures within regulatory timeframes. Serve as the primary support resource for the Senior Lender by managing borrower communications, follow-up items, and document verification prior to underwriting. Maintain accurate loan records in the Bank's origination system and transition approved loans to the closing process while ensuring HMDA and regulatory compliance. Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and internal team members by responding promptly and adhering to Bank policies. Full-time, in-office role with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking operations, loan processing, customer service, or an administrative support role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to analyze information and resolve routine problems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize mortgage lending and banking software
Desired Qualifications
