Job Summary
Lead a team of approximately 70 employees, driving their professional and personal development through regular feedback and performance conversations. Manage the operational and strategic direction of the Megastore, ensuring smooth business processes while owning revenue, cost, and profit targets. Coordinate staffing and vacation schedules with department heads to align with customer traffic and business needs. Steer the catalog in both book and non-book sectors to maintain an attractive, customer-focused assortment. Deliver a top-tier shopping experience by guaranteeing high service and advisory quality. Plan and execute cultural events such as readings and author signings, building partnerships with regional institutions to position the store as a cultural hub.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder ein Studium im Bereich Handel, Wirtschaft, Event- oder Veranstaltungsmanagement
- mehrjährige Führungs- und Handelserfahrung
- Vollzeit (38,5 Std/Woche)
