Job Summary
Conduct interactions with Congress to promote understanding and generate support for Defense Intelligence resources and legislative priorities. Assist in developing standardized processes for congressional engagement and coordinate the Defense Intelligence legislative message to ensure consistent articulation of priorities. Extract salient information from congressional bills and reports by applying detailed knowledge of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. Prepare clear and concise written summaries of lengthy documents under tight time constraints while managing task coordination within a large, bureaucratic organization. This role supports the full range of congressional activities functions to assist OUSD(I&S) CASS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum 10 years of combined experience on a congressional committee
- Experience performing legislative analysis
- Experience preparing clear and concise written summaries of lengthy documents under tight time constraints
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with tracking and managing task coordination in a large, bureaucratic organization
