Job Summary
Coordinate incoming requests for word processing projects including formatting, proofreading, editing, document styling, printing, and conversion to PDF images. Assign, distribute, prioritize, and track workload while interfacing with requesters to gather assignment details and analyze tasks for appropriate resource allocation. Direct requests to local and off-site office services, assist with quality control during heavy volume periods, and deliver projects within negotiated timeframes. Maintain knowledge of firm-supported software packages and produce quality work products in a fast-paced environment. Complete 6-week training followed by a hybrid schedule of three onsite and three remote days after probation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to commute to Phoenix, AZ
- Must have strong clerical administrative experience formatting in MS Word
- Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00PM - 7:30AM
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Prior document processing experience in a team environment
- Knowledge of legal terminology preferred but not required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of legal experience preferred
- Experience and exposure to any of the below legal software and applications will be an added advantage: Visio, Phillips Speech Exec, Bighand Digital Dictation, Best Authority, DocXtools, Omnipage, Forte, MacPac, Numbering Assistant, Forms Assistant, Nuance, Workshare Compare, iManage Desksite or Filesite, Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, E-Transcript Bundle Viewer, and Citrix Workspace
- Transcription experience a plus
