Job Summary
Legal Trainee (fixed-term, 12 months at 50% FTE) in Lonza's Basel-based Legal Department. Responsible for internal contract database management, archiving contracts, collaboration with an external service provider, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating simple, standardized contracts (primarily Confidentiality Agreements) for various business units under supervision of the in-house counsel. Will obtain signatures on negotiated contracts, coordinate execution, and file finalized versions in Contract Insight; may contribute to other legal or administrative tasks as needed. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Law, fluency in English and good German, and a diligent, fast-learning approach. Location: Basel, Switzerland; hybrid distribution of workdays possible.
