Job Summary
Support the legal team in the New York office by assisting attorneys and legal professionals with day-to-day tasks. Responsibilities include preparing expenses reports, new business memos, engagement letters, mailing and binders, diary entries, editing pre-bills, maintaining electronic files, organizing physical and electronic documents, assisting with travel arrangements and scheduling meetings, document production, compiling documents, preparing binders and appendices, and quality checking to ensure materials are properly collated. The role requires handling travel and scheduling, ensuring file organization, hyperlinking and electronic filings as needed, and billing for client billable work as directed. Key skills include proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), strong administrative and interpersonal abilities, high accuracy, attention to detail, proofreading, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A BA/BS degree is required; Notary Public is a plus. The position is a 3-day in-person schedule with remote work 2 days, with potential schedule adjustments based on business needs; overtime flexibility is required.
Required Qualifications

- Must be proficient in MS Office, Excel and Power Point
- Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle a high-volume desk with extreme accuracy
- Strong proofreading and solid computer skills
- Notary Public, a plus
