Job Summary
Legal Specialist to support PalmPay Bangladesh by handling labor law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal matters. Responsibilities include providing legal advisory and execution, contract and document management, legal research and analysis, compliance & risk support, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Business teams. Required qualifications include an LLB and LLM or above, Bangladesh Bar Council Advocate license, 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate/fintech/financial services/telecom or law firms, experience with labor law and IP matters, and fluency in English and Bangla. Opportunity features a focus on advisory services, regulatory interpretation, contract drafting/review, and proactive risk mitigation within a multinational fintech context.
Required Qualifications
- LLB and LLM or above from a recognized university
- Bangladesh Bar Council license (Advocate license mandatory)
- 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in corporate, fintech, financial services, telecom, or law firms
- Hands-on experience in legal documentation, contract review, and advisory work
- Exposure to labor law and IP-related matters is strongly preferred
- Fluency in English and Bangla (written and verbal)
