Job Summary
Experienced Legal Litigation Secretary sought to support multiple attorneys in Tucker Ellis LLP's Chicago office. Responsibilities include preparing court filings for Cook County, state, federal, and appellate courts; proofreading and editing documents; creating tables of authorities; scheduling depositions, court appearances, and attorney meetings; maintaining attorney calendars and arranging travel; opening new files and performing conflict checks; processing bills and assisting with special projects; and collaborating with administrative staff to meet firm-wide objectives. Requires a minimum of three years of defense-side litigation secretarial/assistant experience, proficiency in court filing procedures, advanced Word skills (tables, bookmarking, styling), strong proofreading/editing abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
