Job Summary
Legal Secretary role in San Diego supporting an assigned group of attorneys and a global team. Responsibilities include monitoring lawyer time entries for compliance, generating and posting client invoices, expense reimbursement, document management/edits, calendaring, scheduling, and travel arrangements, while preserving confidentiality of firm and client information. Two positions exist within the team, with one more focused on extensive document management and the other on delivering high-touch, white-glove service to clients.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; preferably a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms
- Experience in billing, time-entry monitoring, invoicing, and adherence to Outside Counsel Guidelines
- Document management and calendar/scheduling or travel arrangements
- Confidentiality of firm and client information
