Job Summary
Legal Secretary – Personal Injury role based in Newtown, PA. Provide flexible legal and administrative support across multiple personal injury groups, stepping in for secretaries during high-volume periods. Responsibilities include client intake and initial communications with empathy, drafting, editing, and proofreading pleadings, discovery demands, and basic motions under attorney guidance, coordinating attorney calendars and scheduling court dates, answering and routing calls with professional client service, arranging conference rooms and deposits, collecting and organizing medical records and legal documents, scanning and filing to maintain case files in electronic databases, and providing receptionist switchboard relief as needed. Candidate should have 1-2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience, be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, maintain discretion and confidentiality, possess excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor, and demonstrate strong technical proficiency with calendaring and document preparation.
