Job Summary
Legal Secretary needed to support multiple attorneys in employment and labor law, performing administrative and legal tasks including drafting/revising correspondence, pleadings, and documents; maintaining calendars; handling confidential materials; transcribing electronic dictation; scheduling depositions; and travel arrangements. Requires 3+ years of legal secretarial experience, 65+ wpm typing, familiarity with court filings and billing software, strong organizational and proofreading skills, and proficient MS Office. Hybrid Baltimore, MD role with benefits and competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of recent legal secretarial experience
- Typing 65+ wpm
- Experience with law firm billing software preferred
- Familiarity with state and federal rules and procedures
- Experience with trial preparation and briefs
- Strong proofreading ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
