Job Summary
Legal Secretary for Commercial Litigation team providing litigation support to 6 attorneys. Responsibilities include case management (scheduling court dates, depositions, meetings), document management (organization, storage, retrieval), ECF filing in federal/state courts (including appellate), discovery support, and trial preparation. Administrative duties include calendars, travel arrangements, preparation of pleadings and motions, client communications, and maintaining case files. Must assist in TOA/TOC creation, ensure retention policy compliance, and support a collaborative Manhattan office environment with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Strong proficiency in legal document management software and ECF filing systems
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
- Keen sense of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong job longevity
