Job Summary

Provide legal administrative support to attorneys, including receiving visitors and calls, dictation typing, handling case-file inquiries, mail handling, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, gathering case information, attending client interviews, hearings or depositions, preparing and processing legal documents (pleadings, briefs, orders, subpoenas), preparing trial notebooks, maintaining office files, reviewing medical records, filing court documents, processing attorney travel reimbursements, and entering time for billing. Must work independently, handle confidential information, and adhere to confidentiality/HIPAA requirements; standard hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (may vary by attorney). Knowledge of litigation workflows, strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience as a legal secretary in the litigation field
  • Must be able to type 65 wpm
