Job Summary
As a Legal Researcher, you will provide legal interpretation and expertise to support the development of online functionality and infrastructure. Your responsibilities include creating, modifying, testing, and maintaining queries against Westlaw data, as well as troubleshooting errors. Key skills include strong legal research and writing abilities, proficiency in applications such as MS Office and Westlaw, and the capacity to work effectively within a team. A J.D. degree is required, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. Degree from an American Bar Association approved law school
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Technical skills and aptitude for computer applications and systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Knowledge of legal terminology and court legislative and regulatory levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong learning agility
- Detail-oriented with aptitude for analysis
