Job Summary
Legal Project Manager to drive and deliver donor-funded legal activities for TrustLaw/TRF, including scoping and drafting pro bono legal requests, managing resources, leading workshops/events, updating Salesforce, and coordinating with global teams. Based in London; 2-year fixed-term contract; requires experienced lawyer (5+ years), ability to manage scope/budget/timelines, and travel. Strong English; French/Spanish advantageous; right to work in the UK; salary commensurate with UK charitable sector.
Required Qualifications
- Be an experienced lawyer (5+ years) with strong legal skills and experience with pro bono, international development or social change
- Experience working in a law firm, NGO, media house or in-house legal team is a plus
- An understanding of access to law; safeguarding independent media; shrinking civic space; or responsible business would be advantageous
- An understanding of the challenges and opportunities that pro bono opportunities bring to law firms and legal teams
- Fluency in English. Fluency in French or Spanish would be an advantage
- Experience delivering trainings, workshops and events on legal topics
- Experience inputting into a results framework and reporting on project results would be a plus
- Travel internationally
- Pre-existing right to work in the UK
- Experience in Salesforce would be favourable
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Fixed-term contract for 2 years in London
