Legal Project Management Apprentice – 18 month fixed term contract

Job Summary

Support the Firm's Legal Project Management initiatives across the UK by managing matter management and budgeting systems, producing financial analysis, and delivering client-facing status and WIP reports. Liaise directly with partners and matter teams regarding action lists, meeting minutes, scheduling, and planning while monitoring deliverables against actual performance. Apply project management principles to increase efficiencies and enhance client communications, implementing feedback to refine global LPM processes and assisting in partner training on LPM tools. Schedule video conferences, prepare agendas, and take actions to support the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to 'A' Level standard or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (A-C)
  • Maths and English is essential
  • Strong IT skills with literacy in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good telephone manner essential
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and ability to check own work
  • Reliable and well organised
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Accurate spelling and punctuation
  • Project Management skills, including being able to manage multiple projects at one time and prioritize as necessary
  • Strong analytical, evaluative and critical thinking skills, able to analyse data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to articulate points of view clearly and succinctly, with excellent communication skills, both oral and written
