Job Summary
Head of Legal Program and Operations at DTCC leads and oversees the Legal Department's operations, budgeting, regulatory workflows, and litigation operations. Manages eight paralegals across multiple workstreams, drives adoption of tools, processes and best practices, oversees legal budgeting and outside counsel engagement, and serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on improving efficiency, quality of service, and technology solutions that underlie core department functions. The role requires extensive experience in legal operations, process optimization, legal technology strategy, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Regulatory Relations, Compliance, Risk, and Privacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 10+ years experience in legal operations, corporate legal management or related field, with at least 6 years experience leading process optimization, workflow development, legal finance management, legal technology strategy and reporting/analytics
- Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
