Job Summary
Create and deliver Texas practice training for the sales team, including onboarding curriculum and recurring clinics. Represent the Texas customer in product and operations workflow development, serving as a subject matter expert for new features, including AI-powered tools. Liaise with court clerks to clarify filing and procedural requirements while maintaining internal knowledge of county-level rules and clerk practice shifts. Fact-check marketing materials, identify local marketing opportunities, and contribute practitioner content such as webinars and best-practice guides. Act as an escalation resource for customer support on Texas practice questions and partner with strategic leaders to workshop growth plans.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of hands-on experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant in Texas civil litigation
- Hands-on eFiling experience across multiple Texas counties through eFileTexas
- Direct experience coordinating service of process, including engaging certified process servers, tracking attempts, reviewing affidavits and returns, and supporting motions for substituted service
- Hands-on experience tracking Texas dockets, deadlines, and case status across courts
- Experience across more than one Texas metro area
- Deep working knowledge of Texas trial court structure, clerk practices, and mandatory eFiling mechanics at the county level
- Strong knowledge of Texas service of process rules and practice, including manner of service, diligence documentation, affidavits, and proof-of-service instruments
- Demonstrated ability to teach: has trained colleagues, written training guides or internal procedure documentation, and can explain a procedure clearly to a non-lawyer
- Comfort with legal software beyond routine use, including aptitude for evaluating new systems, testing releases, and reporting reproducible findings
- Ability to work effectively across functions and in ambiguous environments, translating firm-side practice knowledge into product, marketing, and strategic recommendations
- Active involvement in professional associations (paralegal, bar, or trial lawyer organizations), including contributing to initiatives, trainings, or events
- Must reside in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Plaintiff-side experience, such as personal injury or consumer law
- Paralegal certification (for example, Texas Board of Legal Specialization or NALA Certified Paralegal)
