Job Summary
Legal Practice Assistant to support attorneys and timekeepers in a national law firm. Responsibilities include managing the business intake process, drafting screening memos and engagement letters, preparing and filing documents for electronic submission with federal and state courts, maintaining timekeeper calendars, handling administrative tasks and billing review, using the CST workflow application, and collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality legal support. Requires a proactive, detail-oriented, client-service mindset with strong organizational and communication skills; experience in a fast-paced legal environment and ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of legal practice assistant experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to learn and apply CST workflow application
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication and client-service orientation
