Legal Optimization Transformation Leader

Regions is seeking a Senior Leader to drive Legal process optimization and transformation. The role identifies, leads, and manages Legal-specific process improvement initiatives, partnering with Legal leadership to embed structured methodologies, drive cost and cycle-time reductions, and reduce legal/regulatory risk. Responsibilities include designing future-state Legal processes, coordinating cross-functional efforts with Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Finance, coaching Legal associates on process improvement, conducting current-state assessments, identifying gaps and control weaknesses, and presenting actionable recommendations to executives. The candidate will translate complex operational, regulatory, and financial insights into clear guidance and will contribute to workflow redesign and risk/control identification in partnership with Legal Risk and Compliance teams. Preferred qualifications include Master Black Belt certification, BPMN proficiency, data-analytic tooling (Power BI, JIRA) and experience supporting highly regulated Legal or Risk functions; ability to operate in a fast-paced Legal environment with strong strategic and tactical thinking.
