Job Summary
Oversee legal operations for DePuy Synthes Legal Organization in Raynham, managing systems, data and software applications to execute core functions, including outside vendor relationships and payments, matter, knowledge and training management, contracting systems and archives, departmental communications, litigation support tools, and budgeting. Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, manage outside counsel and vendor costs, and optimize legal tools (including AI) to support strategic, high-value work. Partner with Finance on budgeting/forecasting, develop dashboards/metrics, and support process improvements and policy development across the Legal Organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Operations, or related field preferred)
- 6-8 years of experience supporting Legal operations, Legal departments, or other similar professional services operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with data, reports, and metrics to support operational decision-making
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; comfort learning new systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance
