Job Summary
Legal Litigation Assistant needed in a professional law firm environment to provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support. Responsibilities include supporting attorneys and paralegals, managing case deadlines, coordinating client communications, drafting and filing court documents, ensuring filings comply with court rules, maintaining case files, managing attorney calendars, coordinating meetings and appearances, and supporting trial and hearing preparation. Requires strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines, high discretion and confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site with hybrid flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Prior litigation support experience within a law firm or legal office
- Experience preparing pleadings and court filings
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and court processes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Professional client-service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Legal Studies coursework or related education (preferred)
- Experience with litigation management software (preferred)
- Experience with court e-filing systems (preferred)
- Experience with iManage (preferred)
- Experience with Kofax/Nuance (preferred)
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys (preferred)
