Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate sales, marketing, and IT agreements to support commercial contracting. Raise awareness among operational teams on legal and contractual matters by sharing best practices and upskilling business units. Support GDPR compliance by updating ROPA and reviewing DPAs, while monitoring adherence to regulations like the AI Act and Data Act. Keep the contract library current and optimize legal workflows using AI. This 6-month full-time internship begins in September with Paris-based, three-day-in-office attendance. You must hold a school internship agreement, as this is not an apprenticeship.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in law
- School can provide a convention de stage for the full internship
- First successful experience in a law firm or in the legal commercial department of a company
- Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
- Comfortable supporting a steady volume of commercial contract work
- Eager to learn to review, draft, and negotiate independently
- Comfortable with async, remote-friendly, and fast-moving work environments
- Ability to manage several tasks independently
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed without being chased
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization in data protection/privacy, IT law, or business law
- Interest in AI technologies and their legal implications, including the EU AI Act
