Job Summary
Sr Director, Legal Innovation Partner leading a senior customer-facing team embedded with NetDocuments' strategic law firm and legal department clients to drive AI adoption and transformation, and to renew and expand a significant portion of enterprise ARR. Define and refine the AI transformation engagement model from diagnostics through adoption milestones and renewal, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing. Manage a portfolio of high-value relationships, forecast renewal pipelines with cross-functional teams, represent NetDocuments at industry forums as a thought leader, hire and develop talent, and monitor success metrics such as NRR, renewal rate, and client satisfaction. Requires extensive experience in legal technology, enterprise SaaS, and leadership, with travel up to 30% and a JD or equivalent preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, enterprise customer success, or a combination thereof
- at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated track record of owning and growing a book of business in a B2B SaaS or legal technology environment, including direct accountability for renewal and expansion outcomes
- Experience building or leading customer success, professional services, or client advisory teams in enterprise technology
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- JD or equivalent legal industry experience preferred; prior law firm practice or legal operations leadership is an advantage
- Familiarity with document management systems, legal AI platforms, and the broader LegalTech ecosystem
- Ability to travel up to 30% to client sites, conferences, and internal team meetings
