Job Summary

Conduct legal research and drafting support for amicus briefs, model legislation, and public policy educational material covering life issues including abortion, bioethics, healthcare rights of conscience, and end-of-life. Collaborate with attorneys to research, draft, and edit scholarly articles for publication in AUL's Defending Life guide, law reviews, and national periodicals. Work an average of 10 hours per week, either in the Washington DC office or remotely. Candidates must demonstrate excellent legal research and writing skills, initiative, and a commitment to AUL's mission. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines of January 30 for Spring and September 10 for Fall.
