Job Summary
Review and summarize commercial agreements, conduct legal and regulatory research, and draft memoranda and business-facing guidance materials. Assist attorneys with contract drafting, redlining projects, and vendor due diligence reviews while supporting privacy, compliance, and governance initiatives. Participate in meetings with legal and business stakeholders and contribute to special projects related to corporate legal operations and policy development. This academic externship, available exclusively through approved law school programs, pairs students with in-house counsel to gain practical experience in commercial, technology, privacy, and compliance law.
Required Qualifications
- Current J.D. student enrolled at an accredited law school
- Eligible to receive academic credit through the student's law school's externship program
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Interest in corporate, commercial, technology, privacy, or compliance law
