Job Summary
Senior VP role in Frankfurt leading Legal Entity model risk governance within MRGR LE Group; responsible for establishing model risk policies for material Legal Entities, liaison with regulators and audit, and supporting model risk reviews for International Consumer Banking, with emphasis on governance, policy design, and cross-functional oversight.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or MS degree in quantitative areas (Math Finance, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering or similar)
- Background in Model Governance, Model Validation, Regulatory Relations
- Strong grasp of financial math, probability theory and advanced numerical methods
- Strong quantitative & analytical skills; ability to discuss model risk issues
- Ability to read and interpret supervisory statements and regulatory policy
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interface with regulators, audit, and other bank areas on model-related issues
- Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Inquisitive nature; risk and control mindset
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python)
