Job Summary
Senior Legal Engineer role: Lead the design and deployment of custom AI-enabled workflows and vault templates for large law-firm clients. Partner with firm stakeholders and LexisNexis sales/post-sales teams to understand processes, define scope, and apply LexisNexis solutions to client needs. Drive adoption and sustained usage by engaging firm leadership, practice leaders, attorneys, and knowledge-management teams. Support early demos and pilots to demonstrate AI workflow value; represent customer voice to identify product gaps and enhancements; develop customer-facing and internal resources to support AI workflow strategy and successful rollouts. Primary locations are home-based in Ohio and other listed U.S. states; base pay ranges reflect U.S. national ranges.
Required Qualifications
- Have a JD with at least 2 years of recent experience at a large law firm (>50 attorneys), preferably in Litigation or Corporate Law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to establish credibility with attorneys and firm leadership
- Deep understanding of legal workflows, legal service delivery models, and day-to-day challenges faced by legal professionals
- Ability to translate legal insight into clear, workflow-specific value narratives
- Demonstrated curiosity, conviction, and practical experience applying AI and legal technology to improve legal workflows and client delivery
- Ability to work flexibly (working hours) and maintain work/life balance
