Job Summary
Legal Engineers bridge customers, sales, and product to support Harvey's go-to-market strategy for litigation and regulatory practice. They lead discovery and tailored product demonstrations, translating real legal work into Harvey solutions that provide clear value for lawyers. They serve as the voice of the customer, translate feedback into product direction, and partner with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape the roadmap and ensure adoption. They build and refine demos, workflows, and use cases reflecting how litigation and regulatory teams work, including how AI is transforming those workflows, and introduce new capabilities in a credible, compelling way.
Required Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in litigation or regulatory practice (e.g., complex commercial litigation, investigations, antitrust/regulatory, IP litigation) at a top-tier law firm, government agency, or sophisticated in-house legal team
- Strong understanding of workflows and demands faced by litigators and regulatory lawyers
- Executive presence and relationship-building with legal professionals at all levels
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills (live demos, workshops, customer conversations)
- Curiosity about AI and its potential to transform legal practice
- Solutions-oriented mindset with customer-facing experience; cross-functional collaboration a plus
