Job Summary
In-house Legal Engineer role at Harvey bridging customers, sales, and product to support all aspects of our sales strategy and product development. The position leads discovery and tailored product demonstrations, translating real legal work into Harvey solutions that provide clear value for lawyers. Responsibilities include working directly with in-house legal teams at current and prospective customers to uncover workflow pain points, demonstrating Harvey’s fit into real legal work, translating feedback into concrete product direction, and collaborating with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape the roadmap. The role emphasizes reflecting how AI is transforming workflows, building demonstrations and use cases tailored for in-house teams, and communicating effectively with legal professionals and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a JD or equivalent, 3+ years in-house practice or advising corporate legal departments, and a curious, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law in-house and/or advising corporate legal departments at a top-tier law firm or sophisticated company legal team.
