Job Summary
Legal Engineers at Harvey bridge customers, sales, and product, supporting sales strategy and product development for legal workflows. The role involves working directly with lawyers to identify pain points, translating their feedback into product development, and conducting tailored product demonstrations. Candidates should possess a JD or equivalent legal qualification and have at least 3 years of legal practice experience, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to engage confidently with legal professionals. Strong curiosity about AI and its impact on legal work is essential.
Required Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- At least 3 years of experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house with strong exposure to complex legal workflows and client expectations
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make confident, well-reasoned recommendations.
- Ability to operate seamlessly across legal, product, and sales contexts—translating between stakeholders with clarity and precision.
- Executive presence and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging partners, senior associates, in-house counsel, and legal leadership.
Desired Qualifications
- Sales, customer-facing, or law firm business development experience is a plus, particularly where you’ve helped shape solutions rather than just present them.
