Legal Engineer - Custom Solutions

Role overview: Harvey’s Custom Solutions team builds tailored AI tools for leading strategic customers by scoping, designing and implementing custom agents, playbooks and prompts to address high-priority use cases. Team members travel onsite to build relationships with senior stakeholders and support rollout, and partner with Go-to-Market and Product teams to surface opportunities and pilot features. What you’ll do: establish understanding of Harvey’s platform, scope/design/build custom agents and prompts, map stakeholder requirements, prototype and iterate with pilots, communicate market feedback to Product/Engineering, and collaborate with Legal Engineering and Go-to-Market teams to drive growth. What you have: JD or equivalent legal qualification; 5+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer at a top-tier firm and/or in-house legal team; curiosity to test approaches, evaluate deliverables, optimize for customer outcomes; strong communication and stakeholder partnership; interest in driving positive change in the legal industry through AI; experience using AI tools in legal practice is a plus. Compensation: OTE 80/20, $210,000–$300,000 depending on location.
