Legal Engineer (Corporate)

Job Summary
Legal Engineers bridge customers, sales, and product to support Harvey’s go-to-market and product development for corporate legal work. You’ll lead discovery and tailored product demonstrations for corporate lawyers, translate feedback into concrete product direction, shape roadmaps with cross-functional partners, and build workflows and demos reflecting how corporate legal teams actually work, including AI-enhanced workflows and capabilities. You bring a JD or equivalent, at least 3 years of transactional practice experience (M&A, private equity, capital markets, finance, fund formation, EC/VC, real estate, etc.), strong communication and presentation skills, curiosity about AI in legal practice, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset with client-facing experience.
Required Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in transactional practice (M&A, private equity, capital markets, finance, fund formation, banking, EC/VC, real estate or related) at top-tier firm or sophisticated in-house legal team
- Strong understanding of corporate legal workflows and demands
- Executive presence and relationship-building with legal professionals
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in live demos/workshops/customer conversations
- Curiosity about AI and its potential to transform legal practice
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with customer-facing experience
- Experience in client-facing roles, law firm business development, transaction management, or cross-functional collaboration (a plus)
