Job Summary
Lead complex, high-value regulatory matters including inquests, public inquiries, and fitness to practise cases, providing commercial advice to businesses and individuals while undertaking your own advocacy. Supervise and develop junior lawyers, mentor teams, and shape the strategic direction and growth of the Crime & Regulatory practice. Build strong relationships with insurers and clients, drive business development and thought leadership, and take ownership of financial performance and profitability. Work across a broad caseload involving police investigations, health and safety, and entity regulation to help shape the direction of a nationally recognised practice.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner specialising in crime/regulatory law
- Technically strong across multiple regulatory disciplines
- Commercially minded, with a track record in client development and growth
- Experienced in working with insurance-backed work or complex participant environments
- A confident leader who enjoys developing people and building teams
- Ambition and credibility to help take this practice to the next level
