Job Summary
Lead and manage the legal department for PT FWD Insurance Indonesia, providing comprehensive legal advice to ensure compliance and minimize risk. Responsibilities include advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, product development, claims, data privacy, and litigation; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements; monitoring changes in laws and industry standards; overseeing litigation/arbitration with external counsel; developing legal policies, procedures, and training; collaborating with compliance, risk management, and business units; representing the company with regulatory bodies and government agencies; and managing the legal budget and external spend. Required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with an advocate license (PERADI), 8-10 years of legal experience with 3-5 years in a managerial role, and strong knowledge of Indonesian insurance and corporate law. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
Required Qualifications

- 8-10 years of progressive legal experience with 3-5 years in a managerial or supervisory role within insurance/financial services
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian insurance laws and regulations, corporate law, contract law, and dispute resolution procedures
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)
